
On October 31, 2009, (Hallowe'en), La Paloma in NW Calgary hosted a Mexican Dia de los Muertos celebration, including a Mexican Buffet ($20 for adults) and children's Hallowe'en costume contest.

That's pretty cool! I wish there were more multicultural events like this in Calgary for Halloween. Kids don't even trick-or-treat in the streets anymore, they just go to the mall. Plus, what a great excuse to try some new food!
