On Sunday, August 9, 2009 it was Javier’s first birthday so, (like we do for our dogs every year), we got him a carrot-cake cupcake.

Here are some photos of him eating his cupcake:

You can see him about to burn his face in the first photo. Good thing only his hair got burnt (and not his nose); and good thing it was only a little too. Still, it scared him enough that he stopped eating the cupcake and we had to "coax" him into going back to eat the rest… Fun times! :-)
