Earlier this week, Michelle found this video on YouTube of a song we (my siblings and I) used to sing as kids – think Von Trapp Family Singers…

it’s been years since I’ve heard this song and it brings back so many memories! We used to perform this song as a quartet, and not only at Christmas – my sister, the eldest, would sing the first verse; my older brother would sing the second verse; I’d sing the third verse; and my younger brother – who was much too young to be expected to remember the lyrics to a whole verse at that time – would sing the little chorus breaks in between each verse: "…por eso y muchas cosas maaaaas, ven a mi casa esta navidad…" I could rarely get through my whole verse without breaking out in tears and sobbing, but I’m still not sure why… Oh, memories.
